MOL Magsaysay Maritime Academy (MMMA) was established to elevate maritime education, in response to the changing needs of the global shipping industry.

MMMA is a joint venture between MOL (Mitsui OSK Lines), a japanese transport company which is also part of the Mitsui Zaibatsu; the largest shipping company in the world and Magsaysay Maritime Corporation,  

a Philippine company with three main businesses groups - people resources, shipping and logistics, and affiliated businesses.
